Training workshops on "Women's political leadership"

Beneficiaries: 25 Women elected and candidates

At the end of the conference, two capacity building workshops were organized on July 3 and 4, 2021, on "Women's political leadership" and "The right of access to information as an instrument of accountability". 

Workshop n°1: The right of access to information and local authorities 

Workshop 2: The role of young elected officials and civil society in strengthening governance and accountability..

Goals:

– Familiarize participants with the concept of female leadership;

– Understand the influence of social roles on the development of female leadership;

– Equip participants with basic notions of political communication.

Expected results :

– Participants understand the impact of gender and social roles on women's leadership;

– The participants are made aware of the styles of leadership adopted;

– The participants strengthen their capacities in political communication and technical management of electoral campaigns.
