In Morocco, the perception of the needs of young people in terms of human security remains a theme to be explored. In this perspective, the Prometheus Institute for Democracy and Human Rights (IPDDH), and the Geneva Center for Security Sector Governance (DCAF) are interested in understanding the relationship of young people to human security " َثمثل الشباب المغربي للأمان الإنساني through a qualitative and quantitative study, based on a representative sample of 1,300 young people from nine (9) regions.
The study mobilized 14 (fourteen) investigators, covering the aforementioned regions. Based on the reference framework of human security, the study provides a unique insight into the opinions of young people on the subject, by studying the feeling of security and/or insecurity of young people, their needs, their vulnerabilities, their capacities, and their root causes, through five focal points: family, economy, health, public space and politics.
After 18 months of work (training, field surveys, focus groups, peer review, etc.), the Prometheus Institute for Democracy and Human Rights (DCAF) has published the study report. (please consult the institute's website for the download from HERE
